There were several kings named ‘Nebuchadnezzar.’
Nebuchadnezzar II, is most likely the one in the Bible..............
For awhile there, he completely forgot both his name and address.................
God preserved his kingdom for him during the time of his insanity, which is amazing in and of itself.
Apparently the government functionaries were so afraid of him that they continued their jobs as if nothing had happened until he regained his mind, thus preserving the kingdom.
I can imagine them asking themselves, “What if this is a trick to discover who is loyal to him and who is not? I’d better keep doing my job and I’ll be safe.”...............
Interesting.
Thank you, Dan!

#5 Horne
Neb's salvation was the exemplar for the argument that nothing is impossible for God..............
I agree, certainly.
I like Horne’s because the angel’s presence seems to imply God is continuing to watch over the madman—just as He continues watching over me.
Well, this one is kind of fun…reminds me of Jethro Tull’s “Aqualung”.
Horne’s is the most interesting here I think - I get a little chuckle at the faces of the bystanders on the stairwell, I suspect mine would be the same coming across that.
#14 with the purple hair and the Tower of Babel rising in the background is oddly appealing in a comic book art kind of way.
I have this picture in-mind of arriving in heaven and seeing Nebuchadnezzar hanging out jovially with Daniel and the three furnace-boys. In heaven bygones are bygones indeed and all things are new.
Nebuchadnezzar is probably the party guy up there…hey dude, have you ever eaten rye grass?
All of us will have remarkable tales to tell, miracles the Lord did for us—and we all will want to hear them. Hearing other saints’ tales will be, I think, one of the principal reasons we will be praising our Lord continually.
Very few of us…and certainly not me…would have a tale to tell as wild as Nebuchadnezzar’s. And I’m totally good with that!
True—but when the “time” comes, I would love to learn all about your journey, and then to praise our Lord effusively.
#1 is very lovely
nice composition
nice colors
actually, it is so nice that one forgets that
This is Nebuchadnezzar getting a tune up
Neb was full of sin
Like every one of us
He forgot how to grin
And really caused a fuss
At last Neb looked up
And God gave him back his mind
Now In heaven he can sup
No longer spiritually blind
